Visiting the Show

• When and where is The Southern Motorhome & Campervan Show?

  The show takes place 15–17 May 2026 at Newbury Showground, Berkshire (RG18 9QZ) — a popular venue for motorhome events with excellent road access, making it ideal for a weekend motorhome holiday in the UK.

• Can I camp at the show in my motorhome or campervan?

  Yes. The pop-up campsite opens from 8:00am Thursday 14 May until noon Monday 18 May, giving you four nights on site. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy a short motorhome holiday in the UK while attending one of the country’s best-loved campervan shows.

• What is included with camping?

  A camping pitch includes space for your motorhome or campervan (plus awning and small car), 2 adults and up to 3 children, access to the exhibition during opening hours, and evening entertainment throughout the weekend (Saturday headline show ticket sold separately).

• What makes the evening entertainment special?

  The Southern Show is known for its sixties-themed evening entertainment, celebrating iconic 60s music and nostalgia. Camping guests can enjoy live performances across multiple venues, creating a festival-style atmosphere after the exhibition closes.

• Is the Saturday night headline show included?

  Most evening entertainment is included for campers, but the Saturday night 60s headline concert in The Barn is a separately ticketed 18+ event. It’s one of the highlights of the weekend and often sells quickly.

  However, if you don't want to go to the ticketed event there is a free alternative option.

• Is this a good weekend break for motorhome owners?

  Definitely. Many visitors treat the show as a mini motorhome holiday in the UK, combining vehicle shopping, socialising with fellow owners, live music, food vendors and outdoor activities in one relaxed weekend escape.
